Alerts
This page is intended for Galileo customers who need to access Galileo's Apollo or Galileo systems using a software VPN Client. If you are unsure if you are a "FocalpointNet" customer, check with your Galileo Sales Manager or Account Manager. Note, this software may also be used in conjunction with Galileo Integrated Data Source.
Customers with permanent "always on" connections such as SITA, frame relay, a VPN managed by Galileo or a site-to-site VPN managed by our customers, usually do not need this software.
Download
To download the Nortel VPN Client, right click the download link which applies to the version of Windows you are using and select Save Target As and save the software to your desktop or whatever location you use for software downloads. After the download is complete, select Open to start the installation.
Download Nortel VPN v6.07 For Windows Vista
Download Nortel VPN v6.01 For Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP
Download Nortel VPN v4.65 for Windows 98SE
Note, there is no Nortel VPN client for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME or Windows NT as Microsoft no longer supports these versions of Windows. The VPN client for Windows 98SE is supplied only as a courtesy to Galleo clients even though Microsoft no longer supports this version of Windows.
Note, the Nortel VPN client will not run on Windows Servers.
Installation Instructions
Before you begin the installation, make sure you know the Client ID and GTID for the computer where you are installing this software.
During the installation, accept all of the default settings. The downloads have been "scripted" so that all you need to know is your Client ID and GTID plus what follows.

- Password - Enter the GTID associated with the Client ID you entered in step #1 Note, the password is entered in ALL CAPS. The easiest and safest way to do this is to turn on CAP LOCK while entering the password.
- Destination - This should be fpnetnatt.galileo.com.
Note, the installation of v4.65 has an older, no longer used destination here. Change this to fpnetnatt.galileo.com.
DO NOT USE IP ADDRESSES HERE.
